Without the support of our faithful donors, Baby Basics would not be able to function. 100% of all donations go to providing diapers to our participating babies unless earmarked by the donor for administrative costs. CONNECT US TO YOUR CORPORATE MATCHING GIFTS PROGRAM

Baby Basics is recognized by the Internal Revenue Service as tax-exempt and designated as a public charity under section 501 (c)(3).  Many companies support the interests and concerns of employees by allowing them to request corporate funds for nonprofit organizations they support with personal contributions of cash or securities. 

Baby Basics qualifies for many corporate gift programs.  Find out if your employer has a matching gift program and if we qualify.  It is usually as easy as filling out a quick form and sending it to Baby Basics with your donation. Our Treasurer will complete the non profit section and submit it to the employer for a matching gift. 

INCLUDE BABY BASICS IN YOUR NEXT EVENT

Baby Basics frequently partners with local organizations to educate the community about our program. Consider inviting a Baby Basics representative to speak at your church, synagogue, employer or other organization. How about hosting a fundraising event on our behalf? Events such as baby wipes or diaper cream drives have benefited the Baby Basics participants and increased our visibility within the community. If you think your organization might like to include Baby Basics in a function, please let us know.

GET CREATIVE! 

Our donors are always surprising us with new ways of giving.  Recently, a donor had a baby and on the baby announcement asked friends and family to make a donation to Baby Basics in lieu of a baby gift. Parents have asked guests to do the same for birthday parties and graduations.  This approach takes giving to a new level.

CONSIDER GETTING INVOLVED!

Baby Basics, Inc. is an entirely volunteer organization. Our working Board coordinates all fundraising, public relations, diaper distribution, and community involvement programs. The continuing success of Baby Basics points to the variety of talents our volunteers bring, and their commitment and dedication to staying with the mission of providing this important service to families in need.
